Today, in honor of Black History Month, we remember the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Every time I hear his name my next thought is "I have a dream". A speech so powerful and impactful that it moved millions even decades later to take action to make his dream a reality. He had a dream so BIG and outrageous that some thought it was impractical and totally impossible.

“What estate plan? I’m too broke to have an estate plan”, you may be thinking. If you work or have children or assets, you have an estate plan. Either you have already developed one on your own or, by default you have decided to let the courts plan it for you in the event of your untimely departure. Why not be proactive and decide for yourself what will happen to your assets. It will also relieve the burden off the courts and especially your family of trying to figure out your wishes.
I think we can all agree that if asked, everyone wants to be successful. Success might look differently to different people but at the end of the day we all want to succeed. Whether it’s on our job, in school, in a relationship, in sports, in business, in physical fitness, in ministry, in politics, in our finances, in court, you name it. Ultimately, if you ask anyone if they want to be successful, without even stopping to think about it the answer is a resounding, “Yes”!
